I recently noticed that I had a bad habit of pulling out my cell phone every time I went to the bathroom. It was automatic. I would go to the urinal, aim, and scroll. One day when I almost dropped my phone in the bowl, I decided that this habit was a problem.

So I made a rule: don’t check my cell phone in the bathroom.
